Braun Coffee Maker Review
Braun coffee maker has many coffee pot choices for both the casual coffee drinker to the hardcore fanatic (both quantity and quality.) Below I’m going to review my favorite Braun 12 cup coffee maker, Braun 10 cup coffee maker, and Braun Tassimo coffee maker.
For the 12 cup version I like the Braun KF180 FlavorSelect model. I like this coffee maker because it is simple to use, can brew 12 cups or 1 cup, and you can adjust just how strong you want the coffee to be. Also, when you add the water filter it doesn’t take away your ability to brew all 12 cups like in some models. The biggest problem I have with the FlavorSelect is the carafe is a funny shape which makes it kind of hard to clean. A more minor problem is I found that only Braun coffee maker parts work with this machine, so no knockoff reusable filters will work well.

For the Braun coffee maker to make 10 cups I would recommend the Braun KF590 because of its simplicity. It only has two indicator lights and four buttons period to do all the normal programming you would expect. It has a bunch of sensor for optimal brewing, but some say that is just more things that can go wrong. Overall I like it though and I don’t expect my coffee makers to last a decade because by then there is a new one I’d want to try anyways.
As for the Braun Tassimo pod coffee maker the thing is just awesome. It makes absolutely fantastic coffee in every flavor (or not even coffee) imaginable. The only reason you won’t like this Braun coffee maker is if you only one type of coffee all the time and you drink it by the gallon. Of all the coffee makers this is the only one I’d actually call visually appealing.
No matter which Braun coffee maker you have interest in make sure you check out their dozens of other models. Braun is always making changes and upgrades to all of their product lines. No the things that bother you most because these happening will outweigh any cool features you may have bought the coffee pot for in the first place. Choosing a coffee pot is a personal decision that generally comprises of aesthetics, coffee quantity, coffee quality, and speed. All of these aspects are considered in the Braun coffee maker product lines.
